Ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, seven former Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athletes have earned invites to National Teams Orientation Camp in Calgary.
The National Teams Orientation Camp is a three-day, off-ice event with players and staff, which will include presentations, team-building opportunities, team meetings and media opportunities in preparation for the upcoming season.
Five former CSSHL female student-athletes will attend the National Women’s Team Training Block Roster in August:
- Emily Clark – Okanagan Hockey Academy
- Hannah Miller – Okanagan Hockey Academy
- Chloe Primerano – BWC Academy/RHA Kelowna
- Danielle Serdachny – RHA Kelowna
- Micah Zandee-Hart – Okanagan Hockey Academy
Primerano will be the youngest player attending the camp while Clark and Zandee-Hart both helped Team Canada capture gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Serdachny has represented Canada on a number of occasions including scoring the game winning goal at the 2024 World Championships. Miller has previously represented Team China internationally.
Two former CSSHL male student-athletes will attend the mens National Teams Orientation Camp:
- Connor Bedard – North Shore Warriors
- Seth Jarvis – RHA Winnipeg
Both Bedard and Jarvis have represented Team Canada previously, with Jarvis making his National Mens team debut this past season at the Four Nations Cup.
